A Chinese PhD student, Zhenhao Zou, 28, was found guilty of drugging and raping 10 women in London and China from 2019 to 2023
Using a hidden camera, he filmed 9attacks as “souvenirs” and has a trophy box of the victims' belongings. Police said more than 50 other women may have been his victims.
Zou, a mechanical engineering student from University College London, uses WeChat and dating apps to befriend fellow Chinese students before inviting them out for drinks and giving them drugs.
According to the judge, he is a “dangerous and deceitful sexual offender” and could face a long prison sentence. Police are encouraging other potential victims to come forward.
