Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) announced the Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster® guitar in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series. This special model is inspired from Rathalos, the famous "King of the Skies," with detailed designs such as his wings, crest, and guild marks on the body and fretboard.
The Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster® will be available on Fender.com and at authorized Fender dealers worldwide beginning in March 2025. There is also a Limited Edition that will be sold exclusively at the Fender Flagship Tokyo and Fender Japan's official online store. Pre-orders for both models will begin on September 27.
This guitar is built with Fender's high-quality craftsmanship, has a satin-finished alder body, and a 9.5” radius “C”-shaped maple neck with 22 medium jumbo frets. The custom Monster Hunter Rathalos humbucking neck pickup and single-coil bridge pickup provide a loud and clear sound, perfect for clean or distorted sounds. Comes with black hardshell case and certificate of authenticity with neck plate engravings.
In addition to the collaboration, there will also be exclusive Monster Hunter guitar picks with 12 unique designs inspired by iconic in-game materials such as Rathalos Plate, Rathalos Mantle, and Rathalos Ruby. The picks have a special metallic finish, and the pick case is designed like an item box from the game.
The Limited Edition Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster® has glow-in-the-dark features, claw mark engravings, and a premium case with leather belt. This model is only available in Japan.
