CNN International anchor Richard Quest was shocked to see tangled cables on poles in Metro Manila.
In an Instagram video uploaded on February 26, he can be seen on an unnamed street in Manila showing off the mess of cables.
"Every time I see this, I think, how does this work?" he says as he points to the poles and turns the camera.
"With all this spaghetti, how can you find a single broken cable?" he added, clearly amazed.
Quest is currently in the Philippines for a documentary about the Masungi Georeserve in Rizal, which will be released this April.
The Masungi Georeserve is known for its green landscape and cool climate, but has long been threatened by mining, logging, and illegal construction. In the 90s, it went through severe deforestation.
On February 20, the Masungi Georeserve Foundation shared photos of Quest and his team with actor and singer Markki Stroem, while walking the Discovery Trail.
