
Recently, developer Innersloth released the teaser for Among Us 3D, where players can experience first-person perspective gameplay.
In 2022, they released a VR version, but it requires a headset. Now, the game is more accessible as it can be played on PC and VR platforms.
In the new version, classic gameplay such as doing tasks, sabotages, Emergency Meetings, and venting will remain—but in a full 3D environment.
What's new in Among Us 3D?
- Proximity voice chat – Players can chat in-game directly, no third-party app needed.
- First-person minigames – Mas immersive at engaging na tasks.
- Customizable Beansonas – Pwedeng i-personalize ang hitsura ng character mo.
- Cross-play in VR – You can play with users of Meta Quest, Steam VR, PlayStation VR 2, and PICO.
There is no official release date yet, but there is a free demo available on Steam as part of Next Fest, which runs until March 3rd.
Meanwhile, the Among Us animated series announced by CBS Studios is also expected to appear in 2023, with cast members Randall Park, Yvette Nicole Brown, Elijah Wood, and Ashley Johnson.
Among Us first came out in 2018 but gained a lot of popularity during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
