It has a 24MP L-mount sensor and is easier to use because the traditional mode dial has been replaced with direct controls for shutter speed, aperture, ISO, EV compensation, and color mode.
Besides the innovative features, the Sigma BF is the first camera with a true unibody design – molded from one solid piece of aluminum in seven hours. Its seamless metal body is designed to provide a firm and comfortable grip regardless of the attached lens.
Although simple in design, it is not lacking in technology. It has a full-frame sensor for high image quality and a hybrid autofocus system for fast and precise focusing on subjects.
