The decomposing body of an LGBTQIA+ member was found in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, this Friday morning, with a part of his body still inside a cooler.
The victim was identified as Michael “Shalani” Dolina, a well-known member of their community. According to the initial investigation by the Caloocan City Police, it is estimated that the victim had been dead for five days before the crime was discovered.
The body was found in a house in the area, where one of its legs was also discovered inside a cooler. Police are now looking for the owner of the house to determine his possible connection to the crime.
According to Dolina's family, she hasn't come home for five days, so they were very worried and searched for information about her whereabouts.
Authorities are still investigating to identify the culprit and the motive for the murder.
