According to Margarita Forés, the inspiration for Lusso is nostalgia. “The original Lusso was conceived from my unforgettable experiences with my mother as a child. He took me to wonderful places like Harry's Bar in Venice, The Peninsula Lobby in Hong Kong, Café de Flor in Paris, and other elegant Old World cafés, as well as the Waldorf Astoria in New York. I really want to bring this kind of timeless experience to Manila.”
Designed by George Yulo and Mark Wilson, who are also behind the Lusso branches in Greenbelt and Rockwell, this new branch is bigger with two floors, a gorgeous chandelier, dramatic staircase, and gold and marble detailing. The result is a more luxurious version of the original Lusso, a dining destination full of glamor and refinement.
