Heads up, GCash users! The popular e-wallet application GCash will have system maintenance this Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 12 AM to 1 AM.
The notice was shared on GCash's official Facebook page on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. According to their post:
“The GCash app will be undergoing maintenance on Wednesday, February 12, from 12 AM to 1 AM. Please plan your transactions carefully to avoid inconvenience. Thank you!”
After such a post, many netizens shared the notification on their social media accounts to convey to other GCash users.
GCash, launched in 2004, is one of the leading e-wallet apps in the Philippines. In the October 2024 report, 94 million Filipinos are actively using GCash—equivalent to 8 out of every 10 Filipinos.
