"Finally, we are able to share our performance in 2024, an important year for BYD in the Philippines," said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. "This success reflects the dedication of our team, the support of our dealers and suppliers, and above all, the trust of our valued customers. Together, we will propel the Philippines towards a smarter and greener future."
"Together with ACMobility, we will continue to bring to Filipinos BYD's global models that represent greener and smarter mobility solutions as we build on this success in 2025 and beyond," added Aiffy Liu, Country Head of BYD Philippines.
Another important aspect of BYD's rapid growth in the Philippines last year was the rapid and extensive expansion of their dealerships.
At the beginning of 2024, BYD has only two dealerships. By the end of the year, they have 25 operational dealerships in different locations in the country. There are also 52 dealer locations approved for 2025 to deliver BYD electric vehicles to more areas.
"The growing network of BYD dealerships and service centers, along with ACMobility's expanding EV charging stations in the country, are part of the dynamic ecosystem that ACMobility hopes to support the country's transition to electric mobility," Palanca added.
