The Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 alumnus Jarren Garcia has competed as a solo artist with the release of his first self-titled debut album “JARREN.”
The newly released eight-song album features a mix of R&B, soul, and ballads. Standout single “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” leads off the album, which deals with the journey of finding the right person to love after an unappreciated experience. "It's about finding and receiving the love you deserve after a relationship where your worth wasn't seen," said Jarren in an exclusive press release.
The album was written with StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos and Jonathan Manalo of ABS-CBN Music. It combines soulful ballads and an infectious R&B sound. In conjunction with the album launch, Jarren hosted an album launch and fan meet event titled That Boy, Jarren on Saturday (February 8, 2025) at The Skydome, SM City North EDSA. Special guests Kai Montinola and Kolette Madelo also performed at the event. Meanwhile, fellow PBB housemates JM Ibarra and Sofia "Fyang" Smith showed support online, congratulating Jarren on his debut album.
Before he rose to fame in Pinoy Big Brother, Jarren joined The Voice UK in 2020. From then, he gradually emerged as a rising musician, becoming a regular on ASAP with the Rockoustic Heartthrobs, and a weekly guest on It's Showtime.
