According to FRIDAY, 29-year-old female nurse Haruna Yatsuka from Toon City, Ehime Prefecture was arrested by police on January 22 on suspicion of multiple crimes including sexual misconduct and indecent kidnapping. According to the investigation, Haruna Yatsuka met a 15-year-old boy attending junior high school in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture through an online game live broadcast APP in August 2024.
The two became closer through online chat, and then Haruna Yatsuka took the initiative to express her desire to meet, and they agreed to meet in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, where the boy was. In October 2024, Haruna Yatsuka traveled 360 kilometers from Toon City, Ehime Prefecture to Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture to meet the boy. Unexpectedly, when the two met, he immediately took the boy to a hotel and had sex with him.
Police pointed out that Haruna Yatsuka's crime was clearly premeditated. He had made reservations at a hotel in Otsu City in advance. As soon as they met, he took the boy to the hotel and did not leave until the next morning. Later, Yatsuka admits to the police that the two actually had sex at the hotel.
The boy's parents were very worried because their son had not returned and they could not contact him so they called the police for help and reported him missing. The next day, the boy returns home alone and admits to having had a physical relationship with Yazuka when questioned by his family. The boy also admitted to police that Yatsuka "did something to him" in the hotel room.
A police officer involved in the investigation pointed out, "We checked the mobile phone communication records of the two people and found that it was Haruna Yatsuka who took the initiative to meet the boy, and can confirm that her purpose in going to Otsu City was to have sex with the boy. Based on her behavior, we determined that she was suspected of abducting a boy under the age of 16. have sex, just meeting a boy or girl under 16 years of age for the purpose of indecent assault is against the law."
