The popular Korean dating show "Single's Inferno" is back on Netflix, and the new season is even more exciting and full of drama!
Using a remote island, "Single's Inferno" contestants need to find a partner and form couples to get off and go to "paradise" for a delicious date.
Started in 2021, the show has become a huge hit on the streaming platform, and every season it creates new stars. Season 4 will be the first Korean Netflix reality series to air a fourth season.
With hosts Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae and Dex, the new season is sure to be more exciting, full of hilarious commentary and dramatic moments.
According to Producer Kim Jae-won, the success of the show is due to its unique participants.
"I think there are only three things that make people love 'Single's Inferno': Freezia, Dex, and Lee Gwan-hee. After this season, it will be four," he said, speculating about at the release of the new star at a press conference at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery Ambassador in Mapo District on Wednesday.
Korean influencer Song Ji-a, known by her online name Freezia, rose to fame for her fashion sense and confident personality in the first season. Youtuber Dex, a former soldier in the Navy's Underwater Demolition Team, also rose to fame in Season 2 due to his charisma. Basketball player Lee Gwan-hee, who became the center of attention in Season 3 because of his rude remarks, is also popular with the girls on the show.
While Season 1 opened the door for dating reality shows, Season 2 dealt with deeper relationships. Season 3 went viral due to its exciting scenes, so Season 4 is expected to show the true meaning of dating reality shows with more honest and intense emotions.
"It's so fun to watch how honest the boys and girls are this season," said panelist and rapper Hanhae.
According to actor Lee Da-hee, "I thought, 'How did they choose people like this?' Our production team is great. The first episode is about to hit. You'll see it in the first episode. I'm happy to be a part of it.
Dex, who was a contestant on Season 2 and was a panel member on Season 3, is back to host Season 4. "As I watch Season 4, I feel like it's the most fun season. It's the season full of of dopamine," Dex said.
"Single's Inferno" Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on January 14.
