Acura has announced the return of the RSX nameplate, marking a new phase for the brand as it introduces its first electric vehicle (EV) built on Honda's EV platform. The new Acura RSX bolsters a sleek, coupe-like silhouette with modern technology.
Real-world testing of the RSX prototype began this week, with vehicles sporting striking camouflage designed by the Acura Design team. This dynamic wrap presents an SUV profile intended to symbolize strength, calmness, and innovation.
"The return of the RSX nameplate with our next-generation EV, demonstrates Acura's dedication to a fun-to-drive future," said Mike Langel, assistant vice president of Acura National Sales. "As our second all-electric SUV, it complements our gas-powered lineup and strengthens Acura's role as a destination brand."
This spring, Acura will further expand its SUV offerings with the 2025 ADX, a premium compact SUV with a turbocharged engine aimed at attracting new buyers. Details about the price and availability of both these models have not been revealed at the time of writing.
