The Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu All Black Pavé is the latest collaboration between Hublot and Swiss tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi, combining the brand's All Black concept with the Spirit of Big Bang case.
Beginning in 2016, the two collaborated on combining elements from tattoo art with high-end horology. This limited edition has a 42mm polished black-plated case, decorated with 180 black diamonds, and incorporates Plescia-Buchi's iconic tattoo artistry as well as sharp lines and three-dimensional geometric patterns that flowing from the case to the bezel.
The watch is powered by the HUB4700 self-winding skeleton chronograph, a high-frequency in-house movement with 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. The timepiece comes with a smooth black rubber strap that complements the tonal color of the watch.
Maxime Plescia-Buchi described the collaboration as an architectural project, where the Spirit of Big Bang collection represents the fusion of geometric aesthetics and improved ergonomics. Hublot CEO, Julien Tornare, also emphasizes the long-standing creative synergy of the Maison and Plescia-Buchi, which has resulted in unique models that combine geometric design, artistic precision, and deep symbolism.
The Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu All Black Pavé limited edition has only 200 pieces and has a retail price of $47,100 USD and is currently available for inquiry through the Maison. The limited edition timepiece will first be shown in China before the global release. For more information, visit Hublot's official website.
