Snow Peak offers a variety of outdoor products and apparel, but few are as well known as their signature titanium, double-wall vacuum mugs. And by 2025, these mugs, already in great use, will have several significant upgrades, including an improved temperature retention system that will keep drinks hot or cold for longer, higher resistance to condensation , and a rim that stays cooler when drinking hot drinks.
Although Snow Peak has been working with titanium since the 60s, the brand never stops improving their products. The company was founded by Yukio Yamai in 1958 and manufactures titanium products in Tsubame-Sanjo, a town in Niigata prefecture with a long history in metalworking. Despite the upgrades, the brand is still searching for the perfect. In 2023, Snow Peak announced that their titanium mugs will be made with a new method that eliminates the need for chemical manufacturing processes, and previous upgrades include lighter handles, a more streamlined silhouette , and plastic-free packaging. Despite all the upgrades, the main features of the mugs remain, such as stackability for easy transport and of course, its sturdy double-wall construction.
The upgraded Snow Peak mugs will be available in early 2025.
