In a fun new clip that will elicit nostalgia from viewers, the teaser shared on social media and YouTube shows Stitch showing respect to The Lion King while pushing him up just like the scene at the beginning of the movie. The caption of the video reads, “Long live the…King?” The new trailer for the remake of the animated classic includes the series' original theme “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” playing in the background. As Stitch is pushed up, he can be seen wearing floaties and running away, leaving a ripple on the beach as he falls into the sand. At the end of the clip, Stitch slowly crawls onto the screen and greets the viewer with “Hi.”
