The elemental powers of Avatar: The Last Airbender are alive in Overwatch 2 through new integrations and skins that showcase the powerful arts of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air bending. Offering a new set of in-game cosmetics and adventures, the collaboration celebrates the "unstoppable power of teamwork" shown by the animated series that aired in 2005.
Starting on December 17, players can gain new Avatar-inspired powers through Overwatch's dynamic gameplay. The main characters of the animated series appear with Zenyatta as avatar Aang, Mei as water-bender Katara, Orisa as flying bison Appa, Genji as fire prince Zuko, and many others. Along with event challenges, which allow players to unlock new skins, players can earn themed sprays, voice lines, and player icons to further deepen their understanding of the Four Nations' lore.
In addition to previous integrations of animated series such as One Punch Man and My Hero Academia, Blizzard Entertainment, the parent of Overwatch, continues to expand the game's reach through cross-universe collaborations.
Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender Collaboration will be available from December 17 to 30.
