Unkrich hired M/M (Paris) to design the publication about eight years ago. The cover of the book pays homage to the famous garden labyrinth, while the books themselves seem to have been pulled from the shelves of The Overlook Hotel, resembling a thin red hotel bible and the story's mysterious scrapbook.
From the legendary blood elevator mechanism to the endlessly changing script, the collection offers a fascinating examination of the cult classic, revealing new perspectives while honoring Kubrick's timeless mystery.
Stanley Kubrick's The Shining is now available for purchase on the Taschen website and on Amazon for $125 USD.
