Recently, dbrand launched a sign-up page for a Nintendo Switch 2 protective case, giving us the first idea from a well-known accessories manufacturer of what Nintendo's next console will look like.
While there has been no official statement from the Japanese games giant about its long-awaited replacement console, third-party manufacturers are often sent CAD files of a first-party product in advance, containing basic dimensions. and its design.
This is to help them design and manufacture their own products (such as peripherals and accessories) that will be released alongside the first product. As such, it's likely that the Canadian brand's renders are a good indication of what the new Switch will look like.
If nothing else, the images from dbrand seem to confirm that the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will be similar to the original model in design – a rumor that has been circulating online for a while now, but only now has it received such concrete proof.
