Porsche has teamed up with Austria-based Frauscher to launch the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom, a sleek electric boat that combines high performance and luxury. This collaboration builds on their previous model, the 850 Fantom Air, and introduces a closed-deck design with a cabin.
The 850 Fantom is powered by an electric drivetrain adapted from the Porsche Macan Turbo, with a 536 hp rear-axle motor, which brings remarkable performance. With a maximum speed of 56 mph, the boat offers driving modes such as Docking, Range, Sport, and Sport Plus. It has a range of about 62 miles at cruising speeds of 25 mph and supports both DC fast charging (up to 270 kW) and AC charging (up to 11 kW).
Measuring 28.4 feet long and 8.2 feet wide, the boat can seat up to seven passengers and contains a rear swimming platform, sunbathing lounge, and an interior cabin designed by Studio F.A. Porsche.
The debut model has Oakgreen Metallic Neo paint and Truffle Brown upholstery with bright orange stitching. Buyers can personalize upholstery, hull colors, and more. Standard features include a folding sunshade, LED lighting, and a high-end audio system with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Pricing for the Porsche x Frauscher 850 Fantom, which is limited to 25 examples, starts at around $625,000 USD, with its global debut set to occur in January 2025.
