In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Kawasaki Germany in 1975, Kawasaki launched a special edition of the Z900RS SE – the "50-Jahre-Jubiläumsmodell," limited to only 150 units. Since the online pre-order opened on December 4th, just three days have passed and all the units have been sold out which were quickly collected by fans. In performance and appearance, there is no denying that this motorcycle is an exceptional model.
Each special edition unit has a unique value, based on the 2025 Z900RS SE, and each has its own number engraved on both sides of the side covers, grip collar, and top of the fuel tank. Even more special, owners of this motorcycle will get an exclusive commemorative gift box containing a numbered certificate, a commemorative booklet, and a framed photo of the 50th Anniversary Edition.
In appearance, this special edition motorcycle uses a combination of metal black and metal matte carbon gray with an understated yet luxurious look. It not only continued the design of the Z900RS SE, but added gold details such as gold anodized footpeg protectors, aluminum grip ends, and aluminum radiator side covers that give the motorcycle a special character. The suspension has also been upgraded, now with Ohlins rear shock absorbers for better stability while driving.
Performance-wise, the special edition continues the strong specs of the Z900RS SE, with 300mm Brembo front brake discs, Brembo M3.42 monoblock calipers, and Nissin brake master cylinders. It also has stainless steel braided brake lines for high braking performance. The engine continues with 111 horsepower and 98Nm of torque like the SE version.
The official price of the special edition is €15,695 (approx. PHP 537,398), and although the price is a bit high, the craze of fans has not changed, and the 150 units of the pre-order sold out in just a few days , which shows the strength of the Kawasaki brand.
All in all, the Z900RS SE 50th Anniversary Edition is a limited edition motorcycle that features commemorative significance, luxurious specs, and exceptional performance. Either in appearance or in meaning, it cannot be missed. Although it is already sold out, the release of this motorcycle has inspired and we hope that Kawasaki has more surprising commemorative plans in the future.
