After the launch of two "Japanese Zen Garden" timepieces, Seiko is back with the introduction of two new additions to their elegant Presage Classic series. Inspired by Japan's rich silk history, the new watches have dials that resemble the soft texture of silk. In the shade “Shiro-Iro” or off-white, the dials are adorned with gold details that reflect the timeless beauty under the dual-curve sapphire glass.
The SPB480J1 model features an open-heart design, while the SPB478J1 displays a classic style. Both models exude a subtle vintage mood, combining beauty and functionality with curved dials, leaf-style hands, and indexes. The seven-piece, multi-row bracelet inspired by the retro metal bands of the 1970s is designed for comfort and elegance, providing a smooth and supple movement.
Powered by Seiko's in-house 6R55 movement, the watches have a date function at three o'clock and a 72-hour power reserve. Price is between £900 – £1,050 GBP (approximately $1,148 – $1,340 USD). Both are now available for pre-order on Seiko's official webstore.
