Name: Fear of God Athletics II Basketball Colors: Night Brown/Night Brown/Night Brown and Night Brown/Night Brown/Cream White SKUs: JS0977 and JQ8482 Price: $180 USD and $200 USD Release Date: December 6
Fear of God Athletics is about to launch their second performance basketball sneaker, the II Basketball, available in mid and high-top versions. The team chose Derrick Rose to feature in the shoe's first campaign, showing both versions dressed in the fall-ready colorway “Night Brown.” Its design includes an inner bootie for a snug fit, sitting on a Lightstrike-backed midsole.
It also uses a TPU shank for dynamic propulsion and a multidirectional traction system from the durable rubber outsole. The shoe releases tomorrow, December 6th, at Fear of God, adidas, and select retailers for $180 USD for the mid-top and $200 USD for the high-top.
Fear of God Athletics—a sports-focused footwear and apparel line created by Fear of God and adidas—is ready to release its second basketball silhouette, dubbed the Fear of God Athletics II Basketball.
The shoe will debut in a “Night Brown” colorway and will come in high-top and mid-cut versions. Its design combines the style of FoG founder Jerry Lorenzo with shoes inspired by adidas Sobakov and with a slight influence of YEEZY.

The uppers are monochromatic brown, with the high-top version having added detail via a collar strap, while the mid-cut version has a more sleek look. They both have thick, semi-translucent midsoles that may contain adidas cushioning technology such as BOOST or Lightstrike.
The look is finished off with a co-branded logo on the heel and toe.
The new FoG Athletics model aims to expand Fear of God Athletics' hoops collection and enhance its performance capabilities. The brand's first shoe, the Fear of God Athletics I, received positive feedback on the design but was criticized for on-court performance due to weight and lack of innovative technology. However, this follow-up has already been seen on the NBA court by Gabe Vincent of the Los Angeles Lakers. Weekend warriors will also have a chance to buy it when it's released this December.
Stay tuned for more information on the exact release date as it is released.
