The Swedish motorcycle brand Husqvarna, represented in Taiwan by Anton Trading, has officially announced the release of the new Svartpilen 250 (Black Arrow 250). This model has undergone significant upgrades, incorporating design elements from the Husqvarna 401 series. These improvements elevate both the quality and technology to a new level for its class. The Svartpilen 250, also known as the "Cool Black Ride," will be distributed through all authorized Husqvarna dealers in Taiwan by the end of November 2024.
Continued Nordic Quality Design, Perfect Entry-Level Option.
After the success of the Husqvarna 401 series, the Svartpilen 250 "Cool Black Ride" is set to be released in Taiwan, blending retro Scrambler style with modern streetbike design. This new model incorporates nearly the same upgrades seen in the 401 series. Its frame is designed with a two-piece structure, providing enhanced flexibility, while the rear shock mounting system has been cleverly designed to accommodate a larger air filter and lower the seat height to a more accessible 820mm. The swingarm features an arc design, ensuring ample space for the exhaust and stable handling for riders.
Combining Retro Style and Modern Technology, Electronic Features
The Svartpilen 250 features an Easy Shift quick-shift system that allows for gear up and down shifts without needing the clutch lever. It is a top choice for street bikes in its class. The new 5-inch LCD instrument panel displays RPM, gear, speed, music connectivity, and other vehicle info, and includes a Type C charging port. The larger 13-liter fuel tank and cargo rack on the tank add functionality and style. The entire bike utilizes an LED lighting system, including a round headlight with LED daytime running lights for increased visibility at night.
The new Svartpilen 250 has a 249cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine with 31 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque. It features a 6-speed gearbox and PASC auxiliary slipper clutch, weighing in at 154kg, making it perfect for city commuting and light adventure rides. The suspension includes a WP 43mm inverted front fork and WP Monoshock rear suspension, both with 150mm travel, providing stability and the ability to handle light off-road terrain.
Its braking system features Brembo Bybre 4-piston calipers, a 320mm front disc, a 240mm rear disc, and a Bosch 9.3 MP dual-channel ABS system with cornering ABS for a more secure ride. The ABS mode can be toggled between Road ABS and Supermoto ABS for enhanced safety and control. The standard 17-inch block tires boost the motorcycle's off-road capabilities, allowing it to handle various road conditions.
