Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige are changing the release schedule of their shows for the next few years. In recent years, Marvel has been known for the volume of their content, especially since 2021. Feige shared with Omelete at Disney's debut at the D23 Brazil event what the next releases for the MCU will look like.
According to Feige, fans should not expect as many releases as in previous years. The number of series and movies is slowing down after 2025. Feige said, “I think it's safe to say we're getting back to a normal rhythm, more or less. In the past, we had four films and four series a year, and I think it will go down to two films, three series – but not for 2025 itself. We've been working on these titles for a long time, and they're just now ready for release. We are very excited.”
Feige confirmed the plan to reduce the number of projects released each year and also hinted at the next Avengers movies, Doomsday and Secret Wars. These will be two big crossover movies. Feige said, “When you decide to do two Avengers movies – it's huge and it consumes all of your energy. We've also announced a Spider-Man movie that will be released between Doomsday and Secret Wars.” Stay tuned for more information.
