Prime Video has launched the first teaser for the upcoming third season of Invincible.
The two-and-a-half-minute long teaser features a scene where Cecil, the head of the Global Defense Agency, talks to Mark Grayson/Invincible about his training since the Viltrumite onslaught broke out at the end of the second season . It started in a meta way, with the show's creative team revealing their details about being busy writing the script, designs, storyboards, key posing, and voice acting — there's even a short clip of Steven's voice Yeun, Mark's voice actor, recording his lines.
Cecil is clearly not impressed with the teenage superhero's lack of preparation for the impending war, and orders him to formally begin his training at the agency. The teaser ends with the official announcement of its premiere date of February 6, 2025 for the third season, and confirmation that there will be no mid-season break this time around.
The second season (spoilers ahead for those who haven't watched yet) tells the story of Mark as he finds the right balance in saving the world from the Viltrumite attack and as a boy, as well as his trial to accept that his father, Nolan/Omni-Man, has found a new family on another planet.
