The live-action Lilo & Stitch movie now has a release date, and is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2025.
The film was directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright. Stitch will be voiced by Chris Sanders, while Maia Kealoha will play the role of Lilo.
The voice cast also includes Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba, the creator of Stitch. Billy Magnussen will play the role of a special agent with a mission to catch Stitch. Lilo's sister, Nani, will be played by Sydney Agudong.
The live-action remake was first announced by Disney in 2018, but it wasn't until 2022 that Fleischer Camp was set to direct.
