Nintendo's Mystery Switch Online Playtest Fills Up Fast

Recently, Nintendo announced that they will have a playtest for a new feature of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Online. Open it to the public and there are 10,000 slots available.

"We are conducting a test called the Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program related to a new feature for the Nintendo Switch Online service offered for the Nintendo Switch system," the company said.

The only criteria to participate in the test is to be 18 years old or older, have a Nintendo account, and subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

Participation is on a first-come, first-serve basis. But in less than a minute, the playtest was full.

Nintendo also required those selected to participate to sign an NDA and request not to discuss the test. Many have already speculated that this feature is about the long-awaited Switch 2.
