Manba has released a wireless controller that includes a two-inch interactive screen.
Manba One is available in two colors, black and white, and it is compatible with many systems such as Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS. The highlight of the controller—its screen—allows users to customize their settings directly on the device, so there's no need for additional software or apps, like standard controllers with customizable features. Settings that can be adjusted on the interactive display include vibration, joystick sensitivity, button customization, and changes to RGB lighting effects.
Manba says that “customization is the heart” of their controller, and along with the two-inch screen, it has four buttons on the back that can be programmed to do whatever the user wants. This includes key combinations called macros, which allow you to perform complex special moves with just one press. Each button can be programmed with up to four different settings and can be switched between them using the interactive display.
The Manba One controller has a built-in 1800mAh battery that provides approximately 12 hours of playtime per charge and comes with a charging dock in the box. The dock ensures the controller is always charged and ready to use, while also serving as convenient storage for the included Bluetooth dongle.
The weight of the controller is 295 g (about 0.6 lbs), which, for comparison, is about 50 g (0.1 lbs) heavier compared to the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Like the Pro Controller, the Manba One is capable of motion controls thanks to its six-axis gyroscope. It has interchangeable, drift-proof, Hall Effect joysticks and it comes with two stick sizes in the box. And, for comfort, the Manba One is ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue during long hours of gaming.
The Manba One is now available in two colors on the brand's website priced at $69.99 (approximately PHP 4,000).
