BMW has partnered with Paramount+ to bring a variety of entertainment options directly to their vehicles, enhancing the experience of BMW and MINI drivers. Starting today, owners of current models with BMW or MINI Operating System 9 can stream multiple movies, series, and new original content from Paramount+ to their car's control display while it's not driving.
This collaboration allows customers to enjoy premium content while charging or breaking on long trips. For safety, streaming is automatically stopped when the vehicle is in motion. Paramount+ is available as part of the BMW Digital Premium and MINI Connected Package and will be launched in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, UK, USA, and Switzerland.
Subscribers can also watch hit shows like Star Trek: Discovery, high-stakes dramas like Tulsa King, and next-gen franchises including Knuckles and Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In addition to a rich library of on-demand content, the streaming service also offers live sports and breaking news.
The service is available through the Video App (DTS AutoStage Video Service Powered by TiVo) integrated into the latest BMW and MINI infotainment systems, which also offers access to other streaming platforms such as Pluto TV, Bloomberg , TED, Yahoo!, and Chili, among others.
