TECHART has released the GT Street R Monochrome and its Cabriolet counterpart in celebration of 50 years of the Porsche Turbo. This exclusive final edition is limited to just 20 units and pays homage to the heritage of the Porsche 911 Turbo through a monochrome design and TECHART's signature performance enhancements.
The GT Street R Monochrome series has 810 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. This power results in a top speed in excess of 215 mph, setting a new benchmark for its segment. The Cabriolet variant offers an open-top driving experience, allowing enthusiasts to hear the exhaust note while enjoying the surroundings.
Aerodynamics are central to the Monochrome's performance, with TECHART's highest rear spoiler dubbed “Mach three.” Designed using wind tunnel testing and racetrack experience, this spoiler improves downforce for increased stability and agility. The carbon fiber aerodynamic package boosts downforce four times at the rear axle and also reduces front lift by 45 percent at 86 mph compared to the standard car.
Inside, the Monochrome lives up to its name with a design that blends carbon fiber, Alcantara, leather, and other high-quality materials. TECHART's “Manufactory Interior” offers a combination of traditional motorsport elements and custom details, giving each vehicle a unique handcrafted touch. The interior includes a TECHART sports steering wheel, reinforced with Alcantara and with contrasting center markings.
TECHART's new hood crest, inspired by the coat of arms of Höfingen, is a special feature of the Monochrome models. This limited edition vehicle is available with various customization points and options, from the “Rear spoiler III duck tail” to the cabriolet iteration. For pricing and availability of the GT Street R Monochrome, it can be obtained through the official site of TECHART.
