LEGO has announced two new sets for its Sonic the Hedgehog collection, which is set to launch in January 2025. They were shown at the annual Sonic Central livestream, where fans can relive adventures with favorite characters and Sonic's opponent in the form of LEGO bricks.
The first set, LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic's Campfire Clash (77001), has a 177-piece build where Sonic must protect the Chaos Emerald from the G.U.N. Beetle and G.U.N. Hunter while relaxing by a cozy campfire. Fans can launch Sonic with his signature speed sphere to defeat robotic enemies, rescue Tocky, and collect Gold Rings.
LEGO will also release Sonic the Hedgehog: Super Shadow vs. Biolizard (77003), where the builders need to defend the Space Colony ARK from the mighty Biolizard. Using the Super Sonic, Super Shadow, and speed sphere launchers, fans can explore Biolizard's weak spots and retrieve the Chaos Emerald.
These new releases follow other Sonic-themed sets introduced in early 2024, including the action-packed LEGO Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster (76999). According to LEGO Designer Frédéric Roland Andre, the company is excited to showcase fan favorite characters and iconic scenes from Sonic.
The new sets will be launched on LEGO's official site on January 1, 2025, and their prices range from $55 (PHP 3,100) to $80 (PHP4,500) USD.
