After the collaboration of Maurice de Mauriac and Racquet in July, the two parties have unveiled a new co-creation that celebrates their love for tennis. It's called the Rallymaster Korea Open, and this limited-edition timepiece is dedicated to the professional tennis tournament that just concluded in Seoul.
While the earlier Rallymaster watches had their own color schemes, they all focused on pastel and muted tones with a retro flair. What is immediately striking about this new model is the color palette. It's wrapped in deep blue from dial to strap, and the 39mm timepiece is housed in a brushed stainless steel case that really pops when worn on the wrist.
As before, the Rallymaster is powered by the Swiss-made Landeron 24 automatic movement, which has a 40 hour power reserve. On the back of the watch with a see-through caseback, the Racquet logo is set in the crystal in a dark blue color, while the tennis ball motif surrounding it resembles the red and blue taegeuk from the South's national flag. Korea.
According to Maurice de Mauriac and Racquet, the Rallymaster Korea Open Limited Edition is the first version of this model beyond its usual capsule collection, dedicated to the main Grand Slam tournaments. It is limited to only 100 pieces, and can now be purchased on the Maurice de Mauriac website for $2,400 USD (PHP 13,4866)
