Salomon built the XT-4 as a rugged trail runner that can tackle any kind of extreme mountain terrain — and even brought back the old performance silhouette as a lifestyle model (first with an updated XT-6 midsole and then with the original in its form with a full, chunky underfoot construction), that principle remained. Now, the XT-4 returns with new “Needlepoint” colorways that showcase a pre-and-post hike/trail run staple: the chalet.
The “Needlepoint” pack comes in both white and black colors called “Vanilla Ice” and “Black,” and focuses on a floral print that reflects traditional chalet decor. In the “Vanilla Ice” pair, this print brings a pop of color with raspberry-colored flowers with gray accents, while in the “Black” pair, it stays monochromatic white and gray. “Vanilla Ice” uses a raspberry shade for added detail on its midsole cage, while “Black” brings a “Deep Lichen Green” tone to the same area. The finishing touches on both pairs are the multi-colored tongue tags, and of course, lots of Salomon branding.
The Salomon XT-4 “Needlepoint” pack is now available on the Salomon webstore and select stockists such as UP THERE. The price of each pair is $220 USD (PHP 12,231).
