Carlex Design, known for their innovative and creative modifications, has announced a new Mercedes-Benz G-Class called the "G-Vintage" series. The first batch of cars had an extreme retro style and were based on the G 63 AMG. It is open to those who want to customize and create their own G-Wagon style.
The recently released G-Vintage series has received a lot of attention since it was announced, and its appearance is truly eye-catching. The design will give a strong retro atmosphere at first glance. The first model shown has an orange and silver color exterior. The lower part of the vehicle is painted in highly reflective orange and has chrome door trim strips, which provide a strong visual impact; while the upper part of the car, including the body and rearview mirrors, is made of subdued silver, forming a strong contrast with the orange lower part of the car's body.
Additionally, the body of the G-Vintage is surrounded by detailed silver stripe painting and has a new spare wheel cover. The orange and chrome frames show meticulous detail and craftsmanship. These are not the only external highlights. The car's front and rear bumpers are made of carbon fiber and chrome-plated, reflecting the specially made 20-inch aluminum rims on the sides of the car, painted in alternating orange and chrome.
The interior of the car is also full of luxury. Carlex Design has covered the seats, door panels, dashboard, and steering wheel in soft white leather, with orange elements adding detail. The seat edges are stitched, and orange trim can be seen on the door panels and central saddle, matching the overall color feel of the vehicle's exterior.
The first batch of the "G-Vintage" series launched a three-color theme. The second body paint uses a two-tone combination of green and silver with red stripes. Although it is also decorated with chrome bumpers, the interior styling is completely different. The white leather is replaced by dark chocolate brown leather, and there are orange elements that bring a different visual atmosphere.
The third car uses a low-key silver two-tone paint as the main color with turquoise stripes, which is more muted compared to the first two. But despite its quiet exterior, the interior is quite high-profile. The entire vehicle is mostly covered in striking turquoise leather, with some black elements for visual balance. If the retro-style G-Vintage hits your taste, I personally feel that compared to the original G-Class, it has a less masculine flavor and is quite attractive at first glance.
