When you think of a projector, you might think of a unit at the back of your entertainment room, which emits a bright light across the room to project a clear, crisp image on the opposite wall. However, as projector technology continues to evolve, a new generation of projectors called “ultra short throw” (or UST for short) has arrived to provide a space-saving option. At the forefront of this technology is Hisense — a brand known for its cinema-grade home theater equipment — which recently launched the new PX3-PRO UST.
The PX3-PRO projects from directly under the viewing wall, and can display screens from 80 to 150 inches in size. Thanks to 3,000 lumens of light and a Pro AI algorithm that automatically adjusts brightness and color contrast while eliminating “color noise,” the system works well in bright and dark rooms, and integrated with Google TV, which provides easy access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and more, as well as the perfect setup for gamers. There is no denying the system's sound: it has 50-watt frontal Harmon Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos for immersive sound.
The PX3 Pro is available now through the Hisense webstore and select stores, priced at $3,499 USD.
