After seven years since the death of Chester Bennington, the former vocalist of Linkin Park, the famous band from America has announced their return to the scene. In a surprise announcement, Linkin Park announced that they will be touring again in 2025 and with their new vocalist Emily Armstrong, best known as a member of the band Dead Sara.
Even before the official announcement, speculations surfaced that the band's new vocalist might be a woman. Even Amy Lee of Evanescence has expressed interest in joining the group. But, in the end, Emily Armstrong was chosen by the band to lead their new phase.
In a live stream on September 6th (Philippines time), Emily was introduced and performed for the first time with the band. They also announced that their new album titled "From Zero" will be released this coming November. Along with this change, it was also confirmed that former Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon will not be returning, and will be replaced by Colin Brittain.
