Independent Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin presented a new Wristmons prototype at the Geneva Watch Days. Dubbed the ThinKing, this timepiece is Konstantin Chaykin's attempt to challenge what could be the world's thinnest mechanical wristwatch.
The ThinKing is only 1.65mm thick, even thinner than Bulgari's record-breaking Octo Finissimo Ultra released earlier this year with a thickness of 1.7mm.

In design, this prototype shows a minimalist and almost industrialist style that reinterprets Konstantin Chaykin's signature Wristmons model. The dial borrows inspiration from the Joker series collection, where one eye serves as the clock, while the other shows the minutes.

On the back, the built-in K.23-0 movement can be seen. It has a 32-hour power reserve, and the movement can be turned with just a key. Jewels and barrels present a look that combines two and three-dimensional elements. It has what looks like handwriting on its upper part that says, "Prototype of the world’s thinnest watch by K. Chaykin — 30.08.2024."
Konstantin Chaykin's ThinKing is currently only in the pre-production stage. At the time of writing, no further details about its price or estimated release date have been confirmed. For more information about the prototype, visit the brand's official website.
