As part of the Geneva Watch Days celebration, Bulgari unveiled a new limited edition Aluminum GMT, inspired by the famous Fender Stratocaster guitar from 1954. The latest collaboration features a GMT colored from the legendary Fender guitar for in a limited release of 1,200 pieces, just in time for the Stratocaster's 70th anniversary. To further celebrate, Bulgari is also offering 140 exclusive anniversary sets, including 70 custom Fender Stratocaster guitars for collectors.
Bvlgari Bvlgari Aluminio is back again in 2020 at the Geneva Watch Days event. The sporty model was first released in 1998 and back then, it was considered unique due to the combination of a black rubber strap and a light aluminum dial with a double Bvlgari logo on the rubber bezel. Now, the latest limited edition has a signature watch design inspired by the original Fender Stratocaster. The elegant and sleek combination has a brown gradient seen on the dial alongside the creamy white and dark brown 24-hour GMT scale.
The watch uses Arabic numerals but retains the 12 and 6, along with the date window at 3 o'clock. Technical specification Bulgari Aluminum GMT X Fender has a 40mm aluminum case with a slim height of 9.7mm and 100m water-resistance. The crown and caseback are made of black DLC-coated titanium and with the combination of aluminum and titanium, the watch is extremely light. The watch has been redesigned with velcro fastening on the rubber strap. Underneath the BVL caliber 192 sits the classic Sellita SW 330.
