In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Caliber 9R, Grand Seiko released two limited edition watches: the SBGA499 and SBGY035. Both have luminous red dials, inspired by the temporary morning light of the Hotaka mountain range.
Meanwhile, the 700-piece limited edition SBGY035 will retail for $8,500 USD. Its dial displays a deeper, darker red gradient, covered with Grand Seiko's signature textured patterns that reflect the rough surface of the Hotaka mountains. Also, a touch of copper pink adorns the central seconds hand and GS logo, bringing the memory of a landscape bathed in warm colors at sunrise.
The SBGA499 is scheduled to be released in November, while the SBGY035 will begin to be available from September. Both models are available at Grand Seiko boutiques and authorized retailers. Visit the brand's official website for more information.
