The latest creation from Artisans de Genève presents the reinvented Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5167A with a deep green color.
Named “Eternal Green,” this watch has been given a new look in line with the client's wishes while respecting the history of its original makers. The client, Mr. V.B., wanted to give a new meaning to his ref. 5167A in a way that pays tribute to his personal journey, as a memory of a particular time and moment in his life.
The original 324 movement has been meticulously modified into a skeletonized design, where each new part is beveled, polished, and polished by hand. While remaining in the watch's original case, a new chapter ring with “Eternal Green” PVD treatment was added.
Other changes include new yellow gold hands, a steel balance bridge, and a hand-pierced and refined gold rotor. To match the color scheme of the piece, a new rubber strap was specially developed by Rubber B, a partner of the Swiss independent workshop.
The cost of this custom is around 58,520 CHF (about $69,015 USD). For more details about the process and story of “Eternal Green,” you can visit its dedicated webpage. Each Artisans de Genève case is uniquely priced depending on the type of customization. For those interested, inquiries can be made on the official Artisans de Genève website.
