After launching the MARVEL X-Men themed "Wolverine: X-23 Liberation," Sideshow Collectibles, a major American toy manufacturer, has recently unveiled a new masterpiece, "Mystique: Freedom and Destiny," a full-body statue. The release is expected to start shipping between May and August 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$685.
Standing approximately 39 centimeters tall, the statue is set up as a daring rescue operation. Mystique, appearing effortlessly poised, sits atop a machine from Trask Industries, holding a heavy rifle in her right hand and a handgun in her left. The display screen shows the story of hacking into Trask's industrial computer host and rescuing fellow mutants. X-Men fans will also notice the profiles of Pyro, The Blob, Toad, and Destiny Irene Adler on the screen.
Additionally, SIDESHOW has incorporated an LED lighting function to enhance the presence of the screen and the statue's base. The statue also includes three interchangeable accessories for Mystique that showcase her ability to transform into Trask Industrial Security, including a left hand holding a key card, a left leg, and torso parts with a guard belt and walkie-talkie, fully displaying Mystique's iconic shapeshifting abilities.
