The family of Anson Que has strongly denied allegations that he was involved in illegal transactions of the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO). According to Atty. Jose Christopher "Kit" Belmonte, the family's lawyer, they do not have any property in Bulacan related to POGO.
Belmonte explained, Anson Que is a respected businessman who has been in business for a long time and is known for his helping the community. He allegedly does not accept business from unknown or untrustworthy people.
The family also called on the public to be cautious and critical of news and said they will continue to cooperate with the PNP. They requested that the family be given privacy during their time of grief and mourning.
The family insists that they will cooperate fully with authorities, but they also want to receive proper respect and privacy despite the issues they are currently facing.
