The Korean Association Community of Angeles City has offered a ₱200,000 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the suspect who killed a Korean national in Pampanga. According to the Angeles City Information Office (CIO), the robbery and shooting incident occurred on April 20, at around 1:50 p.m. in Korean Town, Angeles City.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital but was also declared dead. This is the first robbery-related shooting incident that resulted in the death of a Korean in the city.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. expressed concern and gave the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) 72 hours to catch the suspect. According to Lazatin, they will not allow the brutal incident to go unsolved and want Angeles City to remain safe for locals and foreigners.
Authorities are encouraging the public to immediately provide information to ACPO to assist in the arrest of the suspect.
