"WHO FOUGHT MY SON?"
This was the question a man asked according to witnesses before the shooting took place on Monday afternoon, April 21, 2025, at a milk tea shop in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Two men — Rey and Jeric, both 20 years old and criminology students — were shot while eating. One died instantly, while the other was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to the report, the unidentified man entered, asked who his son was fighting with, and suddenly opened fire. He emerged from the scene of a fight in the other area and the suspect's son was beaten. In his search for justice, the father mistook the two students for the two who were not involved, according to his son.
The victims' parents are devastated. According to police, the suspect lives nearby but is now nowhere to be found.
This is a grim reminder: don't let anger take over. Investigate first — because lives are at stake.
Authorities are still investigating the incident. The area has been cordoned off, CCTV is being reviewed, and police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information.
This incident shows the importance of safety in public places and discipline in the face of emotions.
