There was a bomb threat at the City of Malabon University (CMU) yesterday, prompting the immediate evacuation of students and staff. School officials received an email about the threat around 10 a.m.
The Malabon police and campus security immediately responded. They secured the entire campus and began an investigation. They are also conducting a digital forensics analysis to determine where the threat came from.
According to CMU president Glen de Leon, it is important to act immediately to ensure everyone on campus is safe. They said they are coordinating with local law enforcement for a proper assessment.
