A man in his 50s, Yatish Singhai, suddenly suffered a heart attack while working out at a gym in Gorakhpur, India.
He arrived at the gym before 7:00 a.m. and immediately started exercising using various gym equipment. But just a few moments later, he suddenly fell to the floor.
His gym buddies immediately helped him and he was taken to Bhandari Hospital. But despite doctors' attempts to save him, he was declared dead.
According to the National Institutes of Health, heart problems caused by exercise are rare. However, the risk is higher in those who are middle-aged or have existing heart conditions, especially if the workout is intense.
They also say that exercise is riskier for people with coronary heart disease, especially if the body is not used to intense physical activity.
