A woman died and two people were injured in a fire in Alpsville 3 Subdivision, Barangay Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City this Sunday morning, April 20.
In an interview with Brigada News FM Lucena with Fire Officer 01 Quelvin Paul Beatriz of the Bureau of Fire Protection Lucena, he said they received a call about the fire at around 10:12 AM. Firefighters extinguished it at 10:48 AM.
It is still unclear where the fire started and the value of the burned belongings or house has not been determined.
FO1 Beatriz reminded residents to be alert in this situation. They should immediately call the fire station if they smell fire and avoid burning things that could cause a fire.
