Thirteen people were injured after a collision involving a bus, van, and dump truck on the southbound lane of NLEX in Valenzuela on Monday night.
According to police, the front of the bus was destroyed due to the force of the impact. There were 30 passengers on the bus when the accident occurred.
Based on the investigation, the bus was speeding and collided with a closed van in the third lane, before hitting a dump truck in the fourth lane.
The bus came from Angat, Bulacan and was headed to Caloocan, while the dump truck loaded with sand was from Porac, Pampanga heading to Taguig.
According to a passenger, the collision was so violent that they had to break the bus window to get out because the door was jammed.
One of the injured was an 83-year-old woman who had abrasion on her face and was immediately taken to the hospital.
The bus and dump truck drivers brought the matter to the precinct, and they just settled the settlement.
