A video of a woman riding a bus at a high speed in La Union is now going viral on social media. According to uploader Nova Oliva, the passengers begged her to stop the bus out of fear.
The video shows other passengers screaming and asking for help from the conductor, but they were ignored. Nova said that from Balaoan to Bacnotan, the trip was supposed to take 15 minutes but the driver only made it take about 5 minutes.
Even more surprising, according to the uploader, is that the driver was with his family on the bus — there were children and adults as well. This was allegedly due to a conflict between the driver and another vehicle, which caused him to rush and a head-on collision.
Fortunately, Nova and the other passengers arrived safely. But many are now asking what action the bus operator and the LTFRB La Union took in this incident.
